Member Free Class Schedule

Aerobics

All Around Fitness
For those who can participate in 15-20 minutes of standing, gentle aerobics, this class also includes weight training and flexibility exercises. Free to members.

Cardio Karate
This class emphasizes martial arts moves in a vigorous choreographed workout. This class is free and available to members only.

Exercise Lite
Appropriate for anyone looking for a slower paced class who may be in need of seated options for the majority of exercises. The class uses gentle activities to help increase joint flexibility, range of motion, muscle strength and stamina. Free to members.

Step Survival
A high-intensity, high-energy, interval aerobic workout that emphasizes endurance and muscular conditioning. If you survive this class, you will feel great all day. Free to members.  

Zumba
This class fuses latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program. You will achieve long term benefits while experiencing this one hour of calorie burning, body energizing, and awe inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate you.The routines feature interval training, using fast and slow rhythms to tone your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you’ve got Zumba. Who knew working out could be this much fun!

Zumba Gold
Zumba gold takes the Latin and international dance rhythms, found in the original Zumba, and modifies them for beginner participants and active older adults. It is created to emphasize the basic steps of Merengue, Salsa, Cha Cha, Belly Dance, Flamenco and Tango. Zumba Gold is a fun, easy, and an effective total body workout. It’s great for the mind, body and soul.

Zumbatomic (kids ages 6-11 accompanied by adult)
Get ready to have a blast with the new Zumbatomic dance fitness class modeled after Zumba but specifically created for children. Zumbatomic includes latin and internationally-inspired original music, movement, and games designed to both motivate and educate young ones. We can’t let the kids have all the fun, so in this class, parents and grandparents will be able to join in with their children and enjoy fitness for the whole family. This class is for kids ages 6-11 accompanied by a parent or grandparent.

Strength and Conditioning

Body Core
Get ready for a high intensity cardio workout with kickboxing, strength training, and hard as nails core work. The second half of every class focuses solely on your mid-section, so if you've ever dreamt of washboard abs, take the challenge and come to Body Core!

Boot Camp
This is a military-inspired workout designed for intermediate to advanced levels. Increase core and overall body strength through body weight bearing exercises such as push ups, dips, and floor work. Cardio spurts are included throughout the whole class to keep your heart rate elevated. This class will not only help you increase overall body strength, it will also improve cardiovascular and muscular endurance.

Conditioning for Life
All levels of fitness and bantering are welcome in this class that stretches and exercises your mind and body through jogging/walking, general conditioning exercises, and the relentless pursuit of trivial knowledge. Free to members.

Conditioning for Older Adults
This class focuses on the strength training needs of older adults, providing instruction in proper technique and safety.

Complete Conditioning
Complete conditioning combines an all over resistance workout with a non-stop cardio workout. With the use of medicine balls, jump ropes, free weights and various bike and track cardio drills, participants can expect to reach a new level of physical fitness. Free to members.

Core Essentials
The Core Essentials class is a great way to improve posture and strengthen the core body area. Join us for a free,instructor-led drop in addition to your workout. Please arrive warmed up and ready to exercise. No registration is required for this drop-in class.

Exercise for New Moms
Come exercise and play with your baby at the same time-no babysitters needed! This is a great opportunity to meet other local moms and babies and to learn exercises you and your baby can do at home. The class will focus on restoring general strength, with some effort to elevate the heart rate. This class is ideal for moms with babies less than 12 months old. Please check with your healthcare provider, but generally this class is great for moms from four weeks after delivery (or six weeks after a C-section). Please bring a big blanket, a sense of humor and your little one!

Flex & Firm
This class helps you lengthen and strengthen your body, using a fusion of Pilates, Yoga, Tai Chi and other techniques. While toning all the muscles in the body, there is special emphasis on the core. Workouts also focus on increasing
flexibility to maximize the muscle building process and avoid injury. It is recommended that participants bring a yoga mat to class. Free to members.

Great Arms
Firm and tone your arms and shoulders in this 30 minute workout. Using your body weight, dumbbells, and tubing you’ll get the arms of your dreams and everyone will be saying “you have great arms!”

Group Strength Training
Start your day with an invigorating strength training workout. Each week we’ll complete a different workout targeting all muscle groups, using dumbbells, medicine balls, stability balls and more. This class is geared toward those who want a guided strength training experience, with less emphasis on a cardiovascular workout.

Punk Rope
A playful mash-up of recess and boot camp, which blends creative calisthenics, group drills, relay races, rope jumping, and core training.

Stretch & Tone
Enjoy a workout that emphasizes flexibility and core strengthening.

Women On Weights -Intro Class
Learn to use free weights and strength training equipment in a fun, supportive environment. Each week you will learn how to strengthen a different muscle group, focusing on proper form and technique. At the end of the session, you will know several complete strength training programs to use on your own.

Women on Weights - Continuing
After taking the Intro Women on Weights, take your strength training to the next level in this class.  You will learn additional exercises and focus on creating strength routines to fit your lifestyle maintaining your motivation. Continue increasing your strength and explore an even deeper understanding of weight training.

Workout 101
This class is great for members who aren’t sure of where to begin. Workout 101 will introduce you to a variety of exercise themes like pilates, yoga and cycling, as well as expose you to the cardio and strength equipment on the wellness floor. Each workout is different from the last and will inspire you to try something new!
